Thats fast. My mid semester break is coming to a close. Oh oh. Did a little revision today. Got to work through all those tutorial questions again and again... need to get familiarised with the steps etc. Argh... So many things for my brain to remember. Must think of a way to memorise ;-)

Keeping your cut fruit chilled is the key to keeping vitamin C levels high, according to a recent study. Food scientists from the University of California took pineapples, watermelons, rock melons, strwberries, mangoes and kiwifruit and divided them in half. They cut up the fruit and left the other half whole. Both lots were refrigerated for 9 days and were then tested for nuitritional content. Compared to whole fruit, the cut fruit revealed only small losses of antioxidant compounds. The message? Chill out.
