Time's running out

Had a very tough patch the last couple of days. Was trouble-shooting my project till very late. Very tired... Team project sucks. Its gonna be a tough module. Due date's on Monday, but the product is not yet up, totally. It should be enough to give me a pass though.

Wow... couple of weeks more and it'll be exam time. Got some time off today from the lab as there's a limit to what we can do. Had my 1st proper meal since.... tuesday morning... Had a sweet mandarin orange last night in the wee hours, missed breakfast and lunch. Amazing... I'm almost a muslim. :-) But i'm not fasting. I still drink water.

Its really difficult working with people thinking in different wavelengths. Got to learn to adapt, adjust, accept and reject. Everyone's got their own way of doing things. So do I. So, there must be certain gives and takes. But to me, "its better to give than to take." I don't know why. Just some of the many mottos that i adopted during my close to 8000 days on earth. But sometimes, there will tend to be people whos' motto is opposite of mine. :-)

Sometimes, it doesn't pays to give more than take. People might climb on top of you and shit on your head? Hhahha. Hope I won't get to experience that. It sure will feel shity.

Just in case you didn't know, tagboard is active, but if you're using Mozilla Firefox, the board is ALL THE WAY down the page.... There's no problem viewing from IE. Anyone out there who knows how to solve this problem????

Think tonight will be my only free night for this week. :-( If you see any further blogs by me, it might be from the lab! Haha... but i doubt i'll be blogging away when i should be doing something ;-) Cheers mate!

Do you know?
10 worst job-interview gaffes

Interview Gaffe #1
"My alarm clock didn't go off!"

You only get to make a first impression once, says Shirley Sywak, a senior recruitment manager for Canadian telecommunications company Telus. If you're late for your interview, it may be impossible to dispel the negative vibes.
Why is it a red flag: Being late, says Margaret Leong, a recruitment consultant for LaSalle-SIA college of the Arts in Singapore, implies that you don't care very much for the position you're interviewing for.
Most important of all, adds Sywak," it's a 1st level indicator of what we might expect on the job. If you arrive late for the job interview, what are the chances that you'll be on time for work? It puts a question mark in everyone's mind."
However, that doesn't mean you should throw in the towel if you're running late due to genuinely unavoidable circumstances. "If a person phones beforehand to inform us that he'll be late, and if he can give a valid reason, then we would certainly give him another chance," says Leong
