WAR

Time has arrived where there's nothing to do except to study. War has begun. Date of ceasefire will be 15/11/06 @ 1745pm GMT+10. This is the only war where I can return triumphant... Hmm... (who goes to fight in a war, where you can only lose???) I can almost smell victory, but I shall not let complacency get over me. Hard work = Success.

7 more days. Its coming. Its getting closer, and closer. If I study hard, I believe i can make it. But i believe there's a little somewhere where luck plays a part. But I will not take the chance. Hard work. Hard work.

10 worst job-interview gaffes

Interview Gaffe #6
"My last boss was such a jerk!"

In the course of interviewing a job applicant, Gail Pierre-Jerome of Drake International, a human-resources solutions company, asked how the candidate had fared in her last position. She was very critical of her boss, says Pierre-Jerome. "She said he was a great guy, but he provided no sense of direction. The whole thing was very negative."

Why is it a red flag: Being critical of a previous employer rarely sits well with a potential one. First of all, says Pierre-Jerome, it makes them wonder what you'll have to say about them when you move on. Secondly, it can be an indicator of an underlying negativity. And finally, if you're applying for a job in the same industry, there's always the chance your interviewer knows the person you're slagging. In this case, the previous boss happened to be Pierre-Jerome's husband.
